A new gym catered to children has recently opened in Somerset, called The Little Gym. Situated within the Bath Leisure Centre, this enrichment and physical development center is the fifth of its kind in the UK and caters to children aged 10 months to 12 years. Operated from Thursday to Sunday, the facility can host between 100 and 120 children daily.
Owned by Fiona Putnam, a business coach and mother of two, The Little Gym aims to foster a warm and nurturing environment to support children in their physical and personal development. The inclusive approach of the gym focuses on individual progress, rather than comparisons, allowing each child to flourish at their own pace.
Alongside Fiona, Amy Perkins, a former circus acrobat and owner of The Little Gym of Harpenden, has partnered to bring the joy of physical development to the children of Bath. The coaching team is made up of highly qualified individuals, including a Russian ballet dancer and a former circus acrobat, all dedicated to creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Equipped with specialized gear such as asymmetric bars, rings, beams, and various soft equipment, The Little Gym also offers classes priced at £68 per month, with a promotional offer for the first two months at half price. Furthermore, the facility provides half-day camp sessions for £40 for those looking for a fun-filled experience.
