Bristol Airport is expanding its winter flight options with four new direct routes from easyJet to beloved European cities: Munich, Verona, Vienna, and Zurich. These destinations offer travelers a chance to indulge in festive Christmas markets, cultural experiences, or simply soak up the magic of a winter city break.
Starting October 26, flights to Munich will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The Bavarian capital captivates visitors with its picturesque squares, parks, and post-Oktoberfest charm. Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, welcomes travelers beginning October 29 with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, offering vibrant city life nestled between mountains and a sparkling lake.
From November 21, Vienna flights will run on Mondays and Fridays, starting at just £24.49. The Austrian capital’s enchanting Christmas markets and festive spirit make it an ideal winter destination. Meanwhile, Verona flights commence December 6, flying Wednesdays and Saturdays to the medieval city famous as the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Additionally, easyJet resumes winter services to Tromsø, Norway, starting December 4, flying Thursdays and Sundays. This Arctic city—situated 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle—offers unforgettable experiences, including the Northern Lights, dog sledding, and whale watching.

On the summer travel front, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their Greek offerings for Summer 2026, introducing two new destinations: the Olympus Riviera and Meganisi. The Olympus Riviera, accessible via Thessaloniki Airport, offers stunning landscapes, a unique fusion of mountains and coast, and vibrant culture. Jet2holidays provides packages with hotel transfers from May 5 to October 6, 2026.
Meganisi, a tranquil Ionian Island near Lefkas, is reachable via Preveza Airport with services beginning May 3, 2026. Known for its natural charm and peaceful vibe, it’s perfect for travelers seeking authenticity and serene beauty. Shuttle and ferry transfers are included with Jet2holidays bookings.

Meanwhile, Ryanair is boosting its winter schedule at Bristol Airport by launching a new route to Lapland’s Rovaniemi starting November 1. Lapland promises a magical winter experience filled with reindeer sleighs, husky rides, the Northern Lights, and festive activities. Ryanair has also increased flight frequencies on 11 other winter routes, including popular sun destinations like Alicante, Madrid, and Porto, as well as city breaks in Budapest, Dublin, and Krakow.
