A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision on the A39 near Marksbury, North East Somerset. Emergency services responded promptly after a red Honda CBR motorcycle and a grey Toyota Corolla were involved in a crash at approximately 1:55pm on Saturday, October 11.
The rider, a 67-year-old man, was rushed to hospital with injuries initially described as life-threatening. However, Avon and Somerset Police have since confirmed that while his wounds remain serious, they are no longer considered life-threatening or life-changing. The motorcyclist continues to receive medical care and is in a stable condition. His next of kin have been notified.
