Motorcyclist Injured in Somerset Crash

A motorcyclist has sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash in Weston-super-Mare. The collision, which involved a single vehicle, occurred on Devonshire Road near the junction with Nithsdale Road at around 10 pm on Sunday, April 20. The rider, a man in his twenties, was operating a black Harley Davidson motorbike at the time.

Following the incident, the road was closed for over six hours to facilitate an investigation. It was reopened at 5 am on Monday, April 21. Avon and Somerset Police are urgently seeking witnesses to the collision and have released a statement urging anyone with relevant information or footage to come forward.

“We’re appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle collision in Weston-super-Mare. If you saw the collision but have not yet spoken with officers, or if you have any dashcam, CCTV or other relevant footage of the vehicle, we’d like to hear from you,” the statement reads.
