Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on A39 Between Bath and Bristol

A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a hit-and-run collision on the A39 Wells Road in Corston, Somerset, early Tuesday morning, October 14. The crash occurred at approximately 1:30 am near the Bristol Road roundabout, close to the Globe pub.

According to Avon and Somerset Police, a white van traveling away from Bath collided head-on with a motorbike moving in the opposite direction. Following the initial collision, the motorbike was involved in a secondary crash with a red Alfa Romeo. The Alfa Romeo’s driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.

The driver of the white van failed to stop and has not yet been identified. The motorcyclist received hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
