A man in his 30s lost his life in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the B3092 near Milton-on-Stour, north of Gillingham, Dorset, on Friday, March 20. Dorset Police were alerted to the crash at 2:32 pm, involving a silver Peugeot 308 and a black Triumph motorcycle.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but sadly the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed, and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage that could assist their investigation.
To facilitate emergency response and a thorough examination of the accident site, road closures were implemented in the area.

Sergeant Richard Stroud of the Roads Policing Team expressed his condolences, stating, “Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones of the motorcyclist. We are committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding this collision.”
