Motorbike Stolen from Taunton Home Found Abandoned Nearby

A red-and-black Lexmoto motorcycle was stolen overnight from a home in Showell Park, Staplegrove, Taunton, and later found abandoned near Milton Road. The theft occurred between 11pm on Saturday, February 21, and 5:15am on Sunday, February 22.

After recovering the bike and its cover just a short distance from the theft location, Avon and Somerset Police launched an investigation and are now appealing for help to identify two young male suspects, aged between 16 and 20, captured on CCTV.

The first suspect is described as wearing a face covering, black jogging bottoms with a white logo on the left thigh, a grey hooded jumper, and a black jacket. No further details have been confirmed about the second male.

Police have conducted CCTV reviews, house-to-house enquiries, and remain in contact with the victim. They are asking anyone with information, or who might have relevant dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area and timeframe, to come forward.

A police spokesperson urged: “If you have any information that could assist, please call 101 quoting reference 5226050004 or use our online appeals form.”
