Mother and Child Attacked by Dog in Park Incident

A distressing incident occurred at Poole Park in Dorset when a child and his mother were attacked by the same dog. The large black Alsatian bit the boy on the back of his knee, prompting his mother to intervene, resulting in her also being bitten. Both victims were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

Described as being walked by a man and a woman, the dog in question had a black coat with tan color on its front, while the man had long black hair and wore a white or beige T-shirt and dark trousers. The woman accompanying him had blonde hair and was dressed in a blue ensemble. A beige Chihuahua was also reported to be in their company during the incident.

Dorset Police are seeking information from the public and urging the individuals walking the dogs to come forward. Police Constable Heather Anderson of Poole police has provided details of the incident and called for witnesses to step forward and for the persons involved to cooperate with the authorities.
