Model and author Daisy Lowe has embarked on an exciting new chapter by planning an eco-friendly home in Somerset, where she intends to live ‘off-grid’ with her family. The 35-year-old recently relocated to the peaceful countryside alongside her husband Jordan Saul and their two-year-old daughter Ivy, seeking a lifestyle that prioritizes nature and sustainability.
At the Renault ‘Maison 4’ event held at Future Stores on Oxford Street, Daisy expressed her deep connection to the West Country’s fresh air and tranquil environment. “I have always loved escaping to the West Country for fresh air, space, getting immersed in nature, and peace,” she shared. “That’s what I’ve always wanted for my family, so it’s been such a special experience moving our lives out to Somerset over the past six months.”
Daisy and her family are now committed to creating a permanent home designed with ecological principles in mind. “We are looking for a space to build an eco-home — one where we can be a bit off-grid and pretty self-sufficient,” she explained. Her vision combines a unique blend of industrial and traditional interiors, reflecting her passion for making a home that is both beautiful and sustainable.

The event, hosted by Renault to celebrate the launch of the new electric Renault 4, brought together leaders from fashion and sustainability to discuss the future of eco-conscious living. For Daisy, the timing of this project feels perfect, especially after welcoming baby Ivy in 2023 and making the transition from urban life in London and Los Angeles to the calm of rural Somerset.
Motherhood has brought a shift in priorities for Daisy, with self-care becoming essential. “Becoming a mum has made self-care so much more important than it’s ever been,” she admitted. “If I don’t take care of myself, then I’m no good to my little cherub, so I’m much better at setting clear boundaries, taking time for myself, and making the most nourishing or caring choice.”
While Daisy acknowledges the challenges of fame, she stresses that it no longer defines her identity. “Fame is a treacherous beast… one that is fickle and yet comes hand-in-hand with the profession I’ve chosen. I have never courted it, and it by no means defines me — and through motherhood, I care so much less than I ever did,” she said.
Reflecting on her illustrious modelling career, Daisy recalled a standout moment with fondness. “When I had the honour of walking in the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in London, having Karl Lagerfeld fit me was a once-in-a-lifetime, pinch-me moment,” she recounted.
As she builds a future rooted in sustainability and family, Daisy Lowe embodies a modern blend of style, responsibility, and heartfelt living.
