Somerset’s acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant, Osip, located near Bruton, has introduced four exclusive guest rooms, allowing diners to stay overnight and fully immerse themselves in its renowned farm-to-table experience.
The addition of these rooms reflects Osip’s commitment to blending exceptional cuisine with comfort and relaxation. To enhance the guest experience, Osip partnered with The Odd Company, specialists in handmade luxury mattresses, to furnish the beds. This collaboration continues a relationship established when Osip’s previous location, Number One Bruton boutique hotel, also featured The Odd Company mattresses.
Andrew Seed, Managing Director of The Odd Company, highlighted the synergy between the two brands: “Our craftsmanship, focus on natural materials, and attention to detail align perfectly with Merlin Labron-Johnson’s vision at Osip. Our Sandringham Super King mattresses—comprising 1200 individually pocketed springs, layers of cashmere, silk, and cotton, topped with hand-finished woollen tufting—deliver the understated luxury and comfort that guests expect.”

Merlin Labron-Johnson, Michelin-starred chef and owner of Osip, shared his inspiration for the rooms: “We sought to create spaces where nature and comfort coexist harmoniously. Every detail—from handcrafted finishes to locally made furniture—was chosen to foster tranquility and encourage guests to pause and breathe. Partnering with like-minded suppliers was essential to achieving this vision of honest luxury.”
The Rooms at Osip invite guests to extend their dining journey by resting in serene, thoughtfully designed accommodations that reflect the restaurant’s dedication to quality and authenticity.
