Taunton-born comedian Matt Chorley, known for his appearances on Have I Got News For You, is making a triumphant return to his hometown for a show next week. The performance, set for Friday, April 19 at the Brewhouse, is part of his national Poll Dancer tour, which humorously delves into the intricacies of winning and losing in elections.
A true Tauntonian, Chorley was born in town and previously worked as a reporter for local papers such as the Taunton Times and Western Morning News. Having transitioned to specialize in political journalism, he has also contributed to renowned publications such as The Times, The Independent on Sunday, and MailOnline.
In anticipation of the upcoming show, Matt shared, “This whole tour has been a brilliant respite from the misery of Westminster, but there is nothing like coming back to the Brewhouse for what will be a unique night. I can’t wait to find out what the audience thinks we should outlaw or enforce as they cast their vote in my ballot box.”
