In the early hours of Saturday, April 12, a terrifying aggravated burglary took place in Lyme Regis, Dorset. Around 3:50 a.m., five masked men armed with weapons forcibly entered a residence on Hill Road, demanding money before fleeing with an undisclosed sum of cash.
During the incident, two occupants were assaulted and sustained injuries; thankfully, their wounds were not serious.
Dorset Police responded swiftly and, following extensive investigations, arrested three individuals connected to the crime. The suspects include a 28-year-old man from Chard, a 44-year-old woman from Ilminster, and a 25-year-old man from Axminster, Devon. All were taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Currently, all three suspects have been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
A Dorset Police spokesperson stated, “At approximately 3:50 a.m. on April 12, five masked men armed with weapons entered a Hill Road property, demanding money and leaving with a quantity of cash. Two occupants were assaulted but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Following inquiries, three individuals were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and have since been released on bail as the investigation proceeds.”
