Marco Pierre White Jr Jailed for 70th Offence Following Assault in Bath

Marco Pierre White Jr, the son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, has been sentenced to four weeks in jail after admitting to assaulting a man in Bath, Somerset, earlier this year. This marks his 70th recorded offence, occurring just weeks after a costly £60,000 shoplifting spree.

White was not present in court when the sentence was delivered at Bristol Magistrates' Court on 11 November. This latest imprisonment will run consecutively with a previous sentence he was serving, handed down just one month earlier. Additionally, he has been ordered to pay £200 in compensation to the victim, Manuel Constantino Teixeira De Leca.

The 30-year-old’s offences span a series of alarming incidents. On 30 October, White was incarcerated following vandalism of a gallery and theft of Jellycat soft toys during multiple raids. His spree included breaking into an Italian deli in Kensington where he stole electronics including a laptop and iPod, and subsequently stealing natural rock crystals from a Notting Hill shop.

White’s criminal activities further extended to a burglary in Barnes, South West London, where he absconded with £1,500 worth of Jellycat toys. He also caused significant damage by destroying four mounted crystals valued at £44,000 during a separate incident at a London ammonite store, from which he also stole green fluorite crystal lamp towers.

Isleworth Crown Court revealed that White suffers from a long-standing drug addiction and had been serving two suspended sentences during much of this recent crime spree. Earlier in the year, alarm was triggered at Clayton’s Kitchens in Bath, where broken glass and blood were found though no items were stolen. The following day, police also received a report concerning Mercy in Action, a local charity shop.

Born on 24 May 1995 and raised in Chelsea, West London, White has had a troubled past. Beyond his legal troubles, he is known for his brief stint on the 2016 series of Celebrity Big Brother, where he was the first contestant evicted, sparking hundreds of complaints due to his behavior.

Despite moments of attempting to rebuild his life—including becoming a father in 2019, launching a sex toy brand, and moving to a farm with his partner—White’s record includes multiple convictions for theft, vandalism, and racial harassment, reflecting an ongoing struggle with the law and personal challenges.
