Police are seeking to identify a man caught on CCTV following a knife-wielding attempted robbery near Bath Railway Station last month.
Avon and Somerset Police report that around 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 14, an unknown man approached a victim in his mid-forties as he was wheeling his bike away from the station along Dorchester Street. The suspect grabbed the victim’s arm and attempted to kick him while brandishing a knife.
Despite the threat, the victim defended himself, causing the assailant to fall to the ground, after which the victim seized his bike and escaped unharmed. Although physically unscathed, the victim was left understandably shaken by the ordeal.
