Man Wanted After Suspicious Fire Outside Sherborne Police Station

Dorset Police have launched an investigation following a suspicious fire outside Sherborne Police Station in the early hours of Saturday, April 25.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., a small fire broke out near the station’s boiler room. Fortunately, the flames did not spread to the main building, and no one was injured during the incident.

Authorities believe the fire was deliberately set and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the event. As part of the inquiry, police have released images of a man they wish to identify and have appealed for the public’s assistance.

Detective Inspector Rich Barnett of Dorset County CID stated, “An investigation is underway, and we urge anyone with any information to come forward. While the images are not of the highest quality, we hope someone may recognize this individual and help with our enquiries.”
