Man Suffers Life-Changing Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on A361

A man in his 20s has sustained life-changing injuries following a multi-vehicle crash involving a lorry and three other vehicles on the A361 near Frome. The accident occurred on Wednesday, September 3, at approximately 7:35am between Leighton and Nunney Catch.

Emergency services responded promptly, and the man was airlifted to hospital for urgent treatment. His next of kin have been informed. Two additional individuals were also hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening or life-changing. A fourth person received treatment at the scene.

The A361 was closed to traffic during the police investigation, reopening around 6:20pm. Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to assist with their inquiry.
