Man Suffers Ear Bite in Violent Attack at Bath Pub

A man was viciously bitten on the ear during a late-night attack at Flan O’Briens pub on Westgate Street in Bath. The assault occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, leaving the victim with significant injuries including bite marks on his ear, bruising, and a cut lip.

Following the attack, the man was rushed to Royal United Hospitals Bath for urgent medical treatment. There, he was administered an injection to protect against hepatitis due to the nature of the bite wound.

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information to aid their investigation. They are particularly eager to identify a man captured in CCTV footage, who may hold crucial details about the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with short light brown hair and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt, a leather bomber jacket, and blue jeans.
