Man Suffers Broken Jaw After Altercation Over Table at Weston-super-Mare Bar

A man in Weston-super-Mare sustained a broken jaw after being punched during an argument outside a local bar.

The incident occurred around 8pm on Saturday, April 25, outside Vinnie’s on West Street. The victim was seated outside the bar when two unknown men approached him and began arguing over his use of a table.

One of the suspects, described as a very tall white male with several tattoos, wearing a t-shirt and shorts, unexpectedly punched the victim in the face. The force of the blow broke the victim’s jaw, necessitating hospital treatment. He has since been discharged and is recovering at home, according to Avon and Somerset Police.

Despite inquiries with the victim and the bar, no suitable CCTV footage of the incident has been found. Police believe witnesses who were outside the bar at the time may hold vital information.
