Man Sought in Connection with Suspicious Fire Outside Sherborne Police Station

Dorset Police have launched an investigation after a suspected arson incident occurred outside Sherborne Police Station in the early hours of Saturday, April 25. At approximately 3:30 a.m., a small fire broke out near the station’s boiler room. Fortunately, the fire was contained quickly, causing no damage to the main building and resulting in no injuries.

Police believe the fire was deliberately set and are actively investigating the circumstances. To aid their enquiries, Dorset Police have released images of a man they wish to identify. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the man or the incident to come forward.

Detective Inspector Rich Barnett of Dorset County CID stated, “We are investigating this incident thoroughly and request that anyone with information contacts us. Though the images I am sharing are not of the highest quality, we hope someone will recognize this individual and help us identify him.”
