A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries during a disturbance in Bramley Lane, Trowbridge, on the evening of Wednesday, October 1. The incident, which took place around 7:25 pm, involved a group of individuals known to each other.
Wiltshire Police confirmed the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment. While his injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-changing. Following the disorder, several men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Detective Inspector Tom Straker, leading the inquiry, assured the public that there is no wider threat beyond those involved. “This incident occurred between people who know each other,” he said. “We are conducting a thorough investigation and there will be an increased police presence in the area as a precaution.”
