A 40-year-old man, James Hortop, has been jailed after being arrested three times for exposing himself to women. He was initially given a suspended jail sentence on April 7, but after committing another incident, he has been sentenced to 15 months in prison.
Hortop came to the attention of Wiltshire Police three times within five weeks and was arrested twice for exposure offences. He was initially given a suspended jail sentence, but after a further incident on April 30 where he exposed himself and masturbated in front of two females, he was ultimately sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment.
The court also extended previous restraining orders and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, with Hortop now being subject to Sex Offender registration requirements for an additional seven years, totaling 14 years.

Volume Crime Team Supervisor Dan Cook highlighted the importance of reporting such behavior and commended the collaboration between police teams that led to the swift arrest and custodial sentence for Hortop.
