A 52-year-old man from Bradford on Avon has been sentenced to prison for violently sexually assaulting, strangling, and striking a woman at her home.
Braham Aissaoui pleaded guilty to charges including intentional strangulation, assault by beating, and sexual assault. His sentencing took place at Swindon Crown Court on 3 August 2026.
The offences occurred over a period spanning from 26 to 30 March this year. Following his arrest, Aissaoui was remanded in custody due to the risk he posed to the victim and the gravity of the offences.

“All reports of such offences are taken with the utmost seriousness, thoroughly investigated, and offenders will be brought to justice,” LCI Dowsett added.
