A man sustained arm injuries after being attacked in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, according to Avon and Somerset Police. Emergency services were alerted at 7:22am on Thursday, July 16, when the ambulance service reported an assault incident.
During their investigation, officers arrested a woman in her thirties on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. Additionally, a man in his thirties was taken into custody on suspicion of common assault and driving while unfit through drink.
Both suspects have since been released on conditional police bail as inquiries continue into the assault.
