A man sustained arm injuries after an assault in Midsomer Norton, Somerset. Avon and Somerset Police responded promptly after receiving a call from the ambulance service at 7:22 am on Thursday, July 16.
An investigation led to the arrest of a woman in her thirties on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. Additionally, a man in his thirties was arrested on suspicion of common assault and driving under the influence.
Both individuals have since been released on conditional police bail as inquiries into the incident continue.
