A man in his 80s has tragically died after being found in distress near the Great Western Canal in Tiverton on Monday, June 23. Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, quickly arrived at the scene on Manley Lane following reports raising concern for his well-being.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that despite efforts to provide emergency treatment, the man was pronounced deceased at the location. Authorities have informed his next of kin and emphasized that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
