A man in his 50s was rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing head injuries after being found seriously hurt on King George Avenue in Bridgwater. Avon and Somerset Police were alerted just before 5 a.m. on Friday, June 19, following a call from the ambulance service.
While the exact circumstances surrounding the injury remain unclear, preliminary investigations indicate the man may have sustained the injury on nearby Campion Way. His next of kin have been informed.
