A man in his mid-60s was seriously injured and hospitalized after being pushed off a pavement by a cyclist on High Street in Worle, Weston-super-Mare. The incident occurred around 6:30 pm on Monday, 27 October, prompting emergency services to respond immediately.
The victim suffered a broken hip and femur, injuries severe enough to require surgery. He remains in hospital recovering. According to police, the pedestrian did not know the cyclist but described him as a man approximately 5ft 11ins tall with light grey hair, wearing a grey sweatshirt.
Avon and Somerset Police have conducted house-to-house inquiries and reviewed CCTV footage but have yet to identify the cyclist. They are now seeking public assistance to locate the man or gather any additional information. Authorities also encourage anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident or the events surrounding it to come forward.
