Man Found Dead at Bath Property Following Emergency Response

A man was discovered deceased at a property in Lower Borough Walls, Bath, on Sunday afternoon, prompting a coordinated response from multiple emergency services.

At approximately 4:25pm on February 22, Avon and Somerset Police, ambulance crews, and a hazardous area response team were dispatched to the scene. Despite the swift response, the man was confirmed deceased upon their arrival.

Authorities have informed the deceased’s next of kin and indicated that the death is not being treated as suspicious. Avon and Somerset Police emphasized that there is no expected risk to the wider public.

A police spokesperson stated: “Officers attended a multi-agency response at an address in Lower Borough Walls. Our thoughts are with the family members affected during this difficult time. We also appreciate the public’s understanding while our investigations were underway.”

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) confirmed their deployment included a double-crewed land ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and a hazardous area response team, all dispatched shortly after receiving the emergency call at 4:27pm.
