A man in his 60s tragically died after collapsing in the multi-storey St Stephen’s Place car park in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Wiltshire Police were alerted to the incident on Monday, February 16, around 12:30 pm. Emergency services, including two ambulances, police officers, and the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, swiftly attended the scene.
Local Councillor Stephen Cooper informed the public via social media, urging residents to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to carry out their work uninterrupted. “Please avoid the area if you can and allow the emergency services to do their job. Thank you,” he posted.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s sudden death. In a brief statement, a police spokesperson expressed condolences: “Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.”
