Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on A360 Near West Lavington

A man tragically lost his life last night in a single-vehicle crash on the A360 near West Lavington. The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15.

The vehicle involved, a northbound Volkswagen Golf near Gore Cross, left the roadway under circumstances still under investigation. Emergency services responded quickly, but despite their efforts, the sole occupant—a 27-year-old man—was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that the man’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving assistance from specially trained officers during this difficult time. A police spokesperson expressed condolences, stating, “Our thoughts are with them at this challenging time.”
