A man has tragically died following a collision on the A38 at Thurloxton, Somerset, on the evening of Thursday 13 August. The incident involved a car and a pedestrian who was pushing a bicycle.
The accident occurred at approximately 9.20pm, leading to the closure of the road in both directions as emergency services responded to the scene. Despite the prompt administration of first aid by police officers, the man sadly died at the location.
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that the victim’s next of kin have been informed, and their thoughts are with them during this difficult time. The A38 has since reopened to traffic.
