A man in his 30s has tragically lost his life following an incident involving a farming vehicle on a Somerset farm. Emergency services were called to a farm in Greenham, near Wellington, after reports of the accident.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the death and have informed the man’s family, offering their condolences during this difficult time. Authorities have also notified the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the coroner as part of the ongoing investigation.
A police spokesperson stated: “Officers responded to a fatal incident involving an agricultural vehicle on farmland near Wellington. The South Western Ambulance Service alerted us to the situation at approximately 2:40 pm on Wednesday, 17 September. Sadly, a man in his 30s has died, and his family has been informed. Our thoughts are with them.”

The HSE spokesperson added: “We are aware of the incident and are collaborating with Avon & Somerset Police to conduct thorough enquiries.”
