Man Charged in Connection with Multiple Car Break-Ins in Bath

A man has been formally charged in relation to a series of car break-ins that occurred across Bath. Craig Starkey, 43, with no fixed address, appeared before Bath Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 18, where he faced seven criminal charges.

The charges brought against Starkey include two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of theft of a motor vehicle, one count of being equipped for theft, one count of attempted theft from a motor vehicle, one count of criminal damage, and one count of theft from a shop.

These offences are linked to incidents that took place between September 15 and November 14 in various parking areas around Charlotte Street, Manvers Street, and Avon Street.

Following the hearing, Starkey has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear again at Bath Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 26.
