A 44-year-old man has been formally charged following an incident involving threatening behaviour with a weapon on a boat in Bath. The event occurred around 6.15pm on Monday, 24 August, in the Twerton area on the River Avon.
Armed police were deployed to the scene due to reports of a weapon being involved. Officers successfully brought the boat to shore, where a man was subsequently arrested.
Avon and Somerset Police have identified the individual as Warwick Harrison, from Southville, Bristol. He faces multiple charges including affray, threats with a bladed article, criminal damage, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.

A crossbow was recovered from the scene during the police operation. Harrison is scheduled to appear at Bath Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 26 August.
A police spokesperson confirmed, “Warwick Harrison, 44, of Southville in Bristol, has been charged with affray, threats with a bladed article, criminal damage, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Bath Magistrates' Court today (26 August). A crossbow was seized from the scene.”
