A man has been named and charged following an incident involving a weapon on a boat in Bath. The situation occurred on the River Avon in the Twerton area at approximately 6.15pm on Monday, 24 August.
Armed police were called to the scene after reports of a man acting in a threatening manner with a weapon. The boat was brought ashore, and the man was arrested by officers.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that Warwick Harrison, 44, from Southville in Bristol, has been charged with affray, threats with a bladed article, criminal damage, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.

He is scheduled to appear at Bath Magistrates' Court today, Wednesday, 26 August.
A crossbow was recovered from the scene during the police intervention.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police stated: “Warwick Harrison, 44, of Southville in Bristol, has been charged with affray, threats with a bladed article, criminal damage, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
“He is due to appear at Bath Magistrates' Court today (26 August).
“A crossbow was seized from the scene.”
