A man was assaulted in the beer garden of The Boathouse pub in Bath, sustaining a neck injury. According to Avon and Somerset Police, the incident occurred around 4:55 pm on Sunday, 7 June.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was conversing with a friend when he became involved in a verbal dispute with a stranger. This altercation quickly escalated, resulting in the victim being attacked. Fortunately, the injury was a bruised neck and did not require hospital treatment.
Following initial inquiries and witness interviews, police have released an image of a man who may hold vital information about the assault. The individual is described as a white male, stocky build, aged between 55 and 65. At the time, he was wearing glasses, blue and white trainers, blue trousers, a dark blue polo shirt, a grey hooded jacket, and a green cap, with short white hair.
