Man Attacked in Bath Pub Beer Garden as Police Seek Witness

A man in his 30s was assaulted in the beer garden of The Boathouse pub in Bath, sustaining a neck injury. The incident occurred around 4:55 pm on Sunday, June 7, when the victim was conversing with a friend before an altercation with a stranger escalated into an attack.

While the victim suffered a bruised neck, he did not require hospital treatment. Avon and Somerset Police have conducted numerous inquiries and spoken with witnesses, but are now appealing to the public for help.

Authorities have released an image of a man they believe may have valuable information. The individual is described as white, stocky, aged between 55 and 65, with short white hair. At the time, he was wearing glasses, blue and white trainers, blue trousers, a dark blue polo shirt, a grey hooded jacket, and a green cap.
