Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder Following Weston-Super-Mare Stabbing

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing incident in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The attack occurred shortly after 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, on Ashcombe Road.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was discovered with multiple knife injuries and is currently receiving treatment in hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the arrest was made last night, and the suspect remains in custody while investigations continue. Officers are increasing patrols in the area as part of ongoing enquiries.
