A serious public order incident in Bath led to the arrest of three men on the evening of Thursday, February 5. Police were called to Lambridge Road around 8:30 pm after reports of threatening behavior and a fire.
Among those detained was a man in his thirties arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill. Another man of a similar age faced charges related to affray and possession with intent to supply. Both have since been released on bail.
A third individual was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody as investigations continue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the events.

A cordon was initially established at the scene, but it was removed by Friday morning, according to a local business owner. Police vehicles and yellow tape remained visible nearby.
Avon and Somerset Police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact them with reference number 5226033877. Meanwhile, Avon Fire and Rescue crews swiftly extinguished the fire just after midnight with no casualties reported. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
