A man in his twenties was arrested after a two-car collision on the A36 near Woolverton, Somerset. The crash, involving a white BMW and a black Ford, occurred at approximately 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 15.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported. The arrested man was taken into custody on suspicion of driving offences but has since been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw the collision or has relevant information that has not yet been shared. The force is also requesting dashcam footage capturing the incident or the moments leading up to it.
