A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving under the influence after a car collided with a lamppost and struck two pedestrians in Bath. The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on June 6 on North Parade.
At the time of the crash, four individuals were inside the vehicle. One pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital; fortunately, these injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Additionally, three passengers from the car were also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Avon and Somerset Police are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses. Anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, doorbell, or dashcam footage of the crash or the moments leading up to it is urged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference 5225157260.
