Man Arrested Following Aggressive Behavior and Woman Chasing Incident in Dorchester

A man in his 30s was arrested on Saturday, July 4, after displaying aggressive behavior towards members of the public and chasing a woman near the Fairfield Road car park in Dorchester. The incident occurred around 3 pm, prompting police intervention.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance involving the man, who was also found to be in possession of a suspected Class A drug during a search. As a result, he was arrested not only on suspicion of a public order offense but also for drug possession. He remains in police custody.

Police Constable Glen Caddy of Dorchester police said, “Our ongoing investigation has revealed that the man was seen chasing a woman near Fairfield Road just before police arrived. The woman is described as Black and wearing a nurses’ or carers’ uniform.”
