Major Update: Man Found with Serious Head Injuries in Bath Woodland

Two of the three men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released on conditional police bail, while the third remains in custody. The men, all in their 30s, were detained after a camper was discovered with serious head injuries in a tent within woodland off The Weal in Weston, Bath.

The incident was reported in the early hours of Wednesday, June 4, following reports of cries of pain heard from the area. Avon and Somerset Police responded promptly and found the injured man, who was immediately taken to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries, though serious, are not believed to be life-threatening. His next of kin have been notified.

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that all four men involved are known to each other. Chief Inspector Hill reassured the public that there is no wider risk, but officers will maintain an increased presence in the area as the investigation continues.
