Two lucky neighbours in Chippenham have kicked off the New Year with an extraordinary £1 million windfall, sharing the jackpot from the weekly Millionaire Street draw.
The winning postcode, SN15 1FD, was announced on Saturday, December 27, revealing their street as the recipient of the life-changing prize. One resident secured an impressive £666,666 by holding two winning tickets, while their neighbour claimed £333,333 from a single ticket.
Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson expressed excitement over the win, noting, “There are two winners who will be feeling very chipper in Chippenham. What an incredible prize at any time of the year, but to win this kind of money around Christmas makes it extra-special.”

The jackpot’s impact extends beyond the winners, as local charities will also gain valuable support. Doorway Wiltshire Ltd received £50,000 to help provide stable, long-term housing solutions, offering vital services like hot meals, clean clothing, internet access, and connections to health and housing assistance.
Chippenham Community Eco Hub was granted £35,000 to support those experiencing social isolation or hardship through community groups, classes, and wellbeing programs.
The People’s Postcode Lottery operates charity lotteries for 20 independent trusts under Gambling Commission regulations. Since its inception, it has generated over £1.5 billion for thousands of charities and good causes.
Chippenham marks the fourth of five Millionaire Street prize locations announced during December’s draws. Entry in the lottery costs £12.25 per month, with players automatically entered into every draw using their chosen postcode. Participants can check online to see if their postcode is a winner.
