A serious collision in Crewkerne’s Market Square has left a pedestrian with life-changing injuries. The incident, involving a lorry and a pedestrian, occurred just before midday on Thursday, May 15.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. The injured pedestrian was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for urgent treatment. At this time, police have been unable to notify the pedestrian’s next of kin.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed they are investigating the collision, which took place on the A356 Market Square around 11:50 a.m. They urge anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage to contact them on 101, referencing incident number 5225135887.
