Cattle rustlers have targeted a farm on the border of Devon and Somerset, making off with a number of valuable Angus cross bullocks. The theft, reported to Devon and Cornwall Police, occurred in the Bampton area near Tiverton, Devon. The incident is believed to have transpired between 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact them on 101, quoting log 151 of 10/04/2025. In response to this surge in livestock thefts in the region, farmers are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or activities on their properties. A police spokesperson highlighted the necessity of a combination of deterrents, tracking, and vigilance to prevent such crimes.
