Lily Allen Shines at Glastonbury Ahead of Olivia Rodrigo’s Headline Set

Lily Allen thrilled Glastonbury Festival fans with an unexpected performance on Saturday night, setting the stage for Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated headline slot.

This surprise is far from Lily’s first memorable Glastonbury moment. In 2022, she famously joined Olivia Rodrigo on stage to perform the powerful track “F You,” dedicating it to the US Supreme Court justices following the overturning of the constitutional right to abortion.

This year, Olivia Rodrigo is making history as the second youngest solo artist to headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night, following Billie Eilish’s footsteps. While Lily Allen didn’t appear on the main stage this time, she delighted audiences with a lively performance alongside Shy FX on a smaller stage, delivering their collaborative track “Roll The Dice.”

Fans quickly took to social media to celebrate her appearance. One user, @iamfabio_, dubbed it a “legends slot for Alright, Still 2o next,” to which Lily cheekily replied, “Glastonbury 2026 here we come!” Others hailed her as “The queen of Glastonbury,” praising her enduring connection to the festival.

Lily also shared glimpses of her festival experience on social media, posting photos captioned, “Much fun was had. Thank you @glastofest and @mercedesbenzuk for the lift!”

Though not headlining this year, Lily Allen’s history with Glastonbury remains significant, having performed on the iconic Pyramid Stage in 2009 and 2014. Reflecting on her 2014 performance, she candidly shared, “And here’s me at Glastonbury in 2014 just before things really started to fall apart. It’s hard for me to look at these, but I feel like I’ve come so far since then and I am so much happier and healthier.”

Her vibrant presence at this year’s festival reminded fans why she continues to be an enduring figure at Glastonbury, eagerly welcomed back by devoted supporters.
