Police, firefighters, and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene to provide urgent assistance. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed their involvement and stated that the Air Accident Investigation Branch is now leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said, “We were alerted shortly after 10 a.m. on June 26 following reports of a light aircraft crash close to Dunkeswell Aerodrome.
