Lee Andrews has abruptly unfollowed his wife, Katie Price, on Instagram, drawing attention amid his ongoing detention in Dubai.
Katie, 48, announced last week that she had finally located Lee two weeks after his mysterious disappearance. Initially denying reports from Lee’s father, Peter, that Lee had been arrested, Katie later confirmed that her husband was being held at Dubai’s Al Awir prison. Lee allegedly informed her he was under investigation for espionage.
Adding to the turmoil, Katie recently faced the temporary loss of her Instagram account, which threatened to sever her connection with her 2.6 million followers. Fortunately, she successfully regained control and has returned to the platform. Despite this, one significant follower is now absent—her husband Lee, who previously followed only her but currently follows no one.

It remains unclear whether Lee himself unfollowed Katie or how he could access Instagram from prison. Reports suggest Lee was scheduled for release on Monday, June 1, according to the Daily Star.
Katie shared her emotional conversation with Lee after locating him, saying, “I have found him, he is alive, and he is ok. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy.” Before this, Katie feared Lee had been abducted.
She recounted that Lee’s last known sighting was inside an “old, dirty van” with his hands tied, where he claimed he’d been taken to a “black site.”
Katie also revealed that during their call, she told Lee, “You are the most hated man in Britain,” explaining on her podcast with sister Sophie that Lee was shocked and unaware of the public perception. She said, “I went ‘Don’t worry about it Lee just focus on one thing – you are the most hated man in Britain,’ is what I said. He said ‘what, what, why?’ and I said ‘trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scammer, everyone thinks I’m in on it.’
“He’s like ‘what has gone on, I haven’t seen anything’ and I said ‘we will discuss it all when you’re out’. It’s been a b******y nightmare, it’s gone viral, this and that.”
The situation continues to unfold as the public awaits Lee’s possible release, amid significant controversy surrounding the allegations and the couple’s personal ordeal.
