Lee Andrews Unfollows Katie Price on Instagram Amid Controversy Over Dubai Detention

Lee Andrews has abruptly unfollowed his wife, Katie Price, on Instagram, raising fresh questions amid the ongoing drama surrounding his reported detention in Dubai.

Katie Price, 48, disclosed last week that she had finally located her husband Lee, two weeks after he went missing. Initially denying claims from Lee’s father that he was arrested in Dubai, Katie later confirmed Lee was being held at Al Awir prison and was suspected of espionage.

The former glamour model had faced additional stress when her Instagram account disappeared, threatening her connection to her 2.6 million followers. Fortunately, she managed to recover her profile and resumed her activity on the platform.

However, Lee Andrews, who until recently followed only Katie on Instagram, has now unfollowed everyone, including her. It remains unclear whether Lee unfollowed Katie himself or if the change occurred through other means, especially considering the challenges of accessing a mobile device inside a prison.

Reports suggest that Lee was expected to be released from custody on Monday, 1st June, but no official confirmation has been given.

In a poignant update last week, Katie revealed she had spoken with Lee, saying, “I have found him, he is alive, and he is okay.” She shared that during their brief conversation, Lee told her authorities suspected him of espionage. Katie described the situation as a “b****y nightmare” that had gone viral, with widespread suspicion casting Lee as a “scammer” and herself being implicated by association.

Before Lee’s disappearance, Katie recounted that he was last seen inside an “old, dirty van” with his hands tied, claiming he was taken to a “black site.”

Despite the turmoil, Katie tried to reassure Lee during their call by telling him he was “the most hated man in Britain,” referring to the public backlash they faced. Lee, confused by the claim, was left unaware of how deeply the scandal had affected public opinion.

As Lee Andrews remains in uncertain circumstances, his gesture of unfollowing Katie on Instagram adds another layer of complexity to an already difficult situation.
